What are the tears of wine?

If we drink wine in a glass, you may have ever seen a curious "tears" slipping through the glass. Could it be that the wine "crying"? What these tears should be? Its existence is the result of physics, and was first described in 1855. In particular, the existence of tears wine is due to the known Gibbs-Marangoni.Las tears of wine effect were first described in 1855
Its mechanism is based on wine composition, consisting of water and alcohol, and the difference in surface tension between two liquids. This effect was first described by the engineer James Thomson, the elder brother of Lord Kelvin seasoning.
His name, however, the Italian Carlo Marangoni, who made ten years later his doctoral thesis on this curious effect is due.
