The range of wines of Empordà is very extensive. The red wines are high quality, full-bodied, well built and harmonious, sometimes tempered by careful breeding. These reserve wines and aging have very characteristic aromatic notes; are complex, subtle fragrance, with hints of spice, always keep the aromas of the fruit and the plant. Once in the mouth, they are expressed fully, tasty and very nice.

In the area fresh and tasty white wines are made, often with native varieties, but also other monovarietales of remarkable quality. Pink also characterized by a well-defined cherry color, great personality and delicate, fresh and moderate alcohol aroma.

A uniqueness of the region is the Grenache of Empordà, natural sweet wine made with the grape variety that gives it its name. Generous, with the own flavor of ripe, warm and silky grape virtues that make it an exceptional dessert wine, along with other own sweet local wine, muscat of the Empordà.
