The Castilian landscape, characterized by green fields and pine forests, becomes the Wine Route Rueda, giving prominence to the vineyards linked to the Designation of Origin Rueda.
After years of work for the care and protection of grape Verdejo, Rueda takes shape as such in 1980, the first Denomination of Origin of Castilla and Leon in receiving this recognition. Since then Rueda white wines have won a major international fame, with a unique character.

Traditionally young wines have been developed, differentiated by their peculiar greenish yellow and its aromas and palate fresh, fruity and elegant. However, in recent years, some wineries have opted for barrel fermentation, presenting wines of great quality and extensive sensations, and sparkling wines.
Although the variety is native Verdejo in Rueda we can find white wines made from other varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Viura and Palomino Fino and, since 2008, allowing develop varieties red and rosé wines.
